Robert Huw Morgan

Biography

Robert Huw Morgan is the University Organist at Stanford University, a position he has held since 1999. A native of Wales, he holds a BA and MA from Cambridge University where he was an organ scholar at St. John's College. Robert also holds two doctorates in Organ Performance and Orchestral Conducting, both from the University of Washington. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists. His repertoire ranges from the earliest sources of keyboard music to music of the present day. In addition to his work as an organist, he is also the lecturer in organ at Stanford, as well as being director of the Memorial Church Choir and the Stanford University Singers. His principal teachers were Carole Terry and Nicolas Kynaston.
